We have lift off!

August

The sun is shining and the progress is phenomenal!  If a picture says 1000 words, I have written a blog for the millions...

IN 14 DAYS WE WENT FROM A SCRAPED BLOCK TO A (NEARLY) COMPLETE HOUSE FRAME

2nd August, 2012 - Framework for slab set and fruit boxes (aka waffle pod) galore!

4th August, 2012 - Wafflepod set

6th August - Brand new shiny slab!

6th August - View from rear

8th August, 2012 Our new water tank was delivered.  Waiting for the slab to cure.

The aftermath of the timber delivery, they broke every branch on our only tree.  A little bit sad about it.

9th August 2012 The timber has arrived!

10 August, 2012 The bottom half of the house is up.  And we have a fence.

11th August, 2012 The bottom storey frame is completed

14th August 2012, Most of the top floor frame is up.  We also have a port-a-loo squeezed on the front of the block.

15th August, 2012 view from the rear of the block

15th August, 2012 Thinking the loo makes the house look fairly small :/

15th August, 2012 Our littlest Site Supervisor throwing driveway rubble on to the road.
